Mkwawa Leaf Celebrates Women’s Day

On 8th March 2024, Mkwawa Leaf Tobacco Limited Commemorated International Women’s Day by visiting mothers at Igunga Hospital in Tabora Region whose children were affected by malnutrition. As part of the initiative, mothers received 100 tins of NIDO milk and fruit tree seedlings to plant, providing immediate nutritional support while promoting a sustainable source of nutritious food for their families.

The initiative reflects Mkwawa’s recognition of the important role women play in families, agriculture, and community development. By supporting women and strengthening household nutrition, Mkwawa contributes to healthier families, resilient communities, and sustainable livelihoods.

“Empowering Women. Nurturing Families. Growing Stronger Communities.”
