Mkwawa Leaf operates across the tobacco value chain, working closely with growers and stakeholders to deliver quality tobacco to international markets. Our operations are built on strong partnerships, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the tobacco industry.
We supply Flue-Cured, Burley, and Sun-Cured tobacco, sourced through contractual arrangements with Primary Societies/growers. Our field teams provide quality seed and extension services, guiding farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), crop management, harvesting, grading, and curing.
Strong emphasis is placed on barn standards, curing, and proper handling to maintain leaf quality and integrity.
Our quality assurance processes cover leaf receiving, inspection, grading, classification, storage, and processing, supported by traceability, moisture control, foreign-material prevention, and compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Through this integrated approach, Mkwawa delivers consistent, high-quality tobacco that meets market and customer specifications while supporting sustainable production.
