Our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives focus on creating meaningful and lasting benefits for the communities in which we operate. Our efforts are centered around four key areas: Education, Water, Health, and Environment.
Better Learning Environment
We invest in better learning environments where every child has the opportunity to thrive. From learning materials, classroom construction to school feeding programmes and sports, we support initiatives that keep children in school, engaged, and ready to learn.
Access to Clean Water
Access to reliable water is essential to the health and wellbeing of communities.
We support the construction and improvement of water sources, including boreoles drilling, helping communities access reliable and safe water for everyday needs.
Supporting Health Infrastructure
Healthy communities are stronger communities. We support health facilities and community health initiatives to help improve access to essential healthcare services and promote the well- being of the communities we serve.
Sustainable Tobacco Production
We work with communities to protect and restore our natural environment. Through Community-Based Forest Management (CBFM) and improved furnace technologies, we promote sustainable forest management and aim to reduce fuelwood consumption by up to 30%.
